"Arrive. Live. Stay. Managing Homes - Shaping Relationships"
This practical course was developed with the support of the IBA_Vienna 2022 – New Social Housing and is organized by the Wohnen Plus Akademie in cooperation with neunerimmo. It is aimed at employees of property management companies of non-profit housing associations with direct customer contact.
Employees of property management companies are key actors for housing inclusion. Especially in times of crisis, it is essential to accompany difficult tenancies, to secure housing opportunities, and to avoid evictions. The course contributes to effectively relieve employees of property managers – especially in dealing with challenging tenancies – to avert housing losses as far as possible and to master the diverse coexistence with joint social responsibility. Powerful techniques help to deal with concerns and complaints in a solution-oriented way, to set boundaries, and to look after one's own health.
With this course format, which is unique in Austria and the very first of its kind, the organizers are responding to current social and housing policy requirements. It represents an important, future-oriented approach in delogation prevention and for strengthening the important players in the field of property management.
