The TURN ON architecture festival once again offers a top-class program with numerous speakers from Austria and abroad.

For the opening speech in 2018, Anna Ramos, the director of the Fundació Mies van der Rohe in Barcelona, who awards the prestigious European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture - Mies van der Rohe Award, is invited.

The welcome on Friday will be provided by Michael Ludwig, Executive City Councilor for Housing, Housing and Urban Renewal in Vienna, the welcome on Saturday Christian Kühn, Chairman of the Austrian Architecture Foundation and Christoph Chorherr, Spokesman for Urban Planning, Vienna.

The opening speech, the greetings and the keynote speech provide a framework for the extensive lecture program, which sets out the national and international references of the festival. The lecture is a philosophical-political meta-level, it also reflects the practice of building.
