Based on a social space analysis and a survey of residents, Stadt Wien - Wiener Wohnen, in the context of the IBA_Vienna, together with various actors, local residents, local stakeholders and on-site initiatives, asked the question of how to make a large urban housing estate from the 1970s fit for the future and adapt it to today's housing needs by means of targeted measures to upgrade the housing stock. The tour, led by the Austria Guides for Future, provides insight into current developments but also into the history of one of Vienna's largest municipal housing estates.
