Many people want to have more neighborhood activities, such as neighborhood festivals. Good and affordable local care and sufficient specialists near the area of the housing estate are important to them.

AALbin
AALbin "Active in old age with digitalisation" is intended to whet senior citizens' appetite for digitalisation. As part of the project, a total of 30 senior citizens will be equipped with a tablet and a smart watch including a mobile emergency call.
Bergtaidingwiese Neighborhood Center
A consumption-free neighborhood center with pergolas, raised beds and spray steles will connect residents and local institutions and encourage them to make greater use of the existing green space there for joint initiatives and activities.
Home game in PAHO
Wiener Wohnen and SOS Kinderdorf Wien started the home game in PAHO in summer 2021: Together with sports teachers, parents and neighbours, space was created for girls and boys from 4 to 10 years old to play and do sports.
ICH BRAUCHE PLATZ!
Ich brauche Platz! is an art and space research project that was carried out in several phases and at different locations. A public transport bus converted into a multifunctional space served as the "research base".
IN-Box
The IN-Box is a pilot project implemented by Wiener Wohnen in cooperation with Wien Energie. The IN-Box is a parcel box system that is open to all delivery services and in which parcels can be temporarily stored.
Info signage
The IBA information pillars offer low-threshold information and communication on site: At three locations in the PAHO, residents are continuously informed about current measures and projects of Wiener Wohnen within the framework of the IBA_Vienna 2022.
Multigenerational Square
A central place for lingering will be created here by a pavement open to infiltration, as well as a planted seating bay in different seating heights and a pergola.
OpenCoach
Opencoach.at enables coaching and consulting for all those who would otherwise often find it difficult or almost impossible to afford these services. As part of the IBA_Vienna 2022, an OpenCoach consulting room will be opened in the PAHO.
Redesign of building passageways
In Per-Albin-Hansson-Siedlung Ost there are several passageways through residential buildings. These are getting new wall designs, new lighting and handrails or are being artistically designed in workshops together with children and young people.
