New neighborhood plus "Campus Plus"

To the east of the Berresgasse urban development area, a “Campus plus” with a total of 1,100 school and nursery school places is being built. Here children from 0 to 14 years can be cared for all day. There will be a nursery school with 12 groups, a primary school with 17 classes, a new secondary school with 12 classes, two special needs classes and two classes for children and adolescents with multiple disabilities who are dependent on care in the regular school system (called basale Förderklassen in Austria) including a therapy area.

This educational campus is a Campus plus, which means that nursery school, school and active leisure activities will be even more closely interlinked. A triple gymnasium, a gymnastics hall, a multipurpose room, a music rehearsal room, a hard court and other outdoor spaces are planned as multipurpose spaces.

The outdoor facilities cover 11,800m² and offer space for outdoor classes, a toddler playground, retreat and therapy gardens, water games and various sports.
