Cooperative Working and Living

The cooperative WoGen Wohnprojekte-Genossenschaft is the first developer in Austria to exclusively realize housing projects with and for people who want to live in community. The WoGen Quartiershaus is divided into the areas of “communal living" and “cooperative working". The base of the building complex is an urban base zone, which includes office and commercial space and a 600 m2 workshop. The “Living Group Building” and the “Cluster Building”, for which new types of large apartments for dense living and living for senior citizens have been developed, rise up above the base zone. In addition, there are extensive shared spaces and open spaces on several floors, which can be used by the occupants of the building in their leisure time and as extensions of commercial space.
