Together we know more. For the whole of Vienna: is a discussion evening about cooperation in urban development. Representatives of several Viennese urban development areas present their approaches to this topic for discussion.
The starting point for this is the format Together we know more of the neighborhood management of the Gebietsbetreuung Stadterneuerung in the Neu Leopoldau neighborhood: In these workshops with developers, architects, landscape architects, social sustainability contractors and others, cross-building site topics are discussed in order to increase the quality of living for future residents. At the start of planning for a new neighborhood, all stakeholders work together to achieve a holistic design. When developers and architects start building, the focus is usually on the individual project. However, it is essential to look beyond the boundaries of the site. The workshop format Together We Know More compensates for this, thus helping to ensure that the fundamental concepts of district planning remain intact throughout the development and implementation process.
The focus of Together We Know More. The neighborhoods Neu-Leopoldau, Seestadt Aspern, Sonnwendviertel, Biotope City, Berresgasse, An der Schanze, Smarter Together, Mautner-Markhof and In der Wiesen Süd will be the focus for the whole of Vienna. Representatives who have played various roles in the creation of these areas, such as project development, property developers, planning, city administration, neighborhood management urban renewal, social sustainability and much more, will present the development from their perspective. In the form of a quick lecture program, similar to "Pecha Kucha", they will present which methods of cross-building cooperation were used in the respective area. Afterwards, the guests will discuss with the audience what can be learned from these developments for future projects.
The evening is not only intended to serve the exchange of ideas, but also to be a pleasant occasion to meet through a culinary offer.
Language: This event will be held in German.
