The 2-story base zone with its shimmering facade of profiled glass accommodates offices and a dance studio for children. The forecourt incorporates the surroundings and brings revitalization and social integration. The apartments are above the base zone.
The building highlights its prominent location at Helmut-Zilk-Park with a high point at the corner. The staggering gives the building a significant appearance and at the same time optimizes the incidence of light. As a typology, the building picks up on the characteristics of old townhouses, which enables a variety of uses in the long term: the public ground floor with the dance studio and the office floor above form a lively base.
The residential floors above are connected by a projecting and receding transparent joint. This combines a lit circulation space with common rooms arranged one above the other. The modular construction structure allows architectural leeway and changeability in the life cycle of the building.
