Open up!

The project OPEN UP! realizes the concept of a new Viennese apartment building: PPAG architects understand this as a flexible, hybrid and de-specialized building. The quarter house presents itself to the strollers in the Sonnwendviertel smooth and MONDÄN to the promenade, to the park stepped and MONTANE. The stepping in floor plan and section guarantees all units with "outside rooms" a view of the green. Between open space, living space, working space and business space, the building is played around the clock and integrated into the neighborhood.

Due to the skeleton construction on the inside, the rooms can be changed according to the needs and requirements of the current and future users. They offer a high degree of flexibility and ensure sustainable use. The urban base zone can be flexibly divided and developed. High ceilings and technical infrastructure create ideal conditions for a wide variety of offices or medical practices, small shops, freelance pubs and restaurants.

The 1- to 4-room apartments and/or apartment clusters on the floors can be combined by means of visible predetermined breaking points and, depending on requirements, can also be converted into offices/offices - right up to open-plan offices.

Communal facilities are planned for the tenants: A roof terrace with garden kitchen, bicycle salon with service area, launderette and a spacious foyer with delivery boxes are available to the building community. The landscaped inner courtyard will develop between rows of trees into a further meeting place and act as a flowing continuation of the Helmut Zilk Park directly in front of the building.
