The "An der Schanze" neighborhood is an example of how the experience gained in the course of the IBA_Vienna can be applied to the subsequent neighborhood development. In this way, people are constantly learning and improving. In this case, it was above all the realization that the intensive dialog between all those involved gives rise to a lively neighborhood.

Neu Leopoldau

The development in Neu Leopoldau follows the motto “young housing” and comprises around 1,400 apartments, 70,000 m² for commercial use and plenty of outdoor space.

HOME 21

HOME 21 offers affordable housing for target groups who previously had little or no access to subsidised new housing.

The vivihouse is an innovative construction system for erecting multi-story buildings for mixed use. It is based on a modular timber frame construction, which is specially optimized for the use of ecological materials.

The building cooperative "die HausWirtschaft" sees itself as a space company that realises a building and roof company oriented towards the common good in a participative process. The focus is on the close connection between working and living.
